Michael Westmore, make-up supervisor: "We had to keep the make-up simple, because they're little kids and they can't spend a lot of time in make-up. The little girl and the two twins are under-age, and their make-up has to be done very fast to get them ready. Many days we used two make-up artists on them, particularly when they were Borg. They were only full Borg for a very short time; then we took the pieces off and brought them to where they're just partial Borg, as they still are now. We try to keep their make-up to half-an hour. If it gets more elaborate, we have to put more people on them. We can't keep them: they have to have school, they have to have work time, so make-up and wardrobe has to be kept to a real minimum."
