Alan Sims: "Then we hired an effects company to provide the Chaotica devices, the Tesla machines, the Dr. Frankenstein static electricity rods, and the Death Ray. The entire ambience of the lab was so accurate you'd think Lawrence Talbot would show up in the scene begging you to lock him up before the full moon rose and he'd become the Wolfman. Unfortunately the machinery on the set was so loud that you couldn't hear the dialogue, so we had to blend the two scenes optically."
